Structuring of Montería river transport – Colombia.

OBJETO: Technical, Legal and Financial Structuring of the Sinú River Passenger River Transportation System (Blue Line) and the detailed engineering design of a pilot project for the System in the city of Montería.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PROYECTO: The project defined the river transport system for the city to be integrated with the Strategic Public Transport System (SETP) and in turn with non-motorized modes; It also proposed the recovery of the Sinú River as the structuring axis of the city, in order to respond to the dynamics of travel generated between the north and south areas of the city, and include the structuring of operations, and the environmental, socioeconomic and financial evaluation of the system. This involved the production of a proposal for the architectural and engineering design of the pilot project, including urban implementation, the budget, specifications and work schedule based on the definition of a type of dock and the vessels with their respective designs. The project also required the structuring of documents for the bidding process of the pilot project, and socialization of the project as a whole.
